Style: What the internet has dubbed the, 'clean girl' aesthetic. In Jen's words, Elle makes sporty clothes look expensive. Wears a lot of yoga pants, puffy vests, and sweatshirts, but also a lot of gold jewelry in a mock casual outfit that still looks put-together.

PERSONALITY:

MBTI: ESFP

Weaknesses: Rude, sensitive, bossy, and a gossip

Desires: To make a name for herself. Elle isn't afraid of the limelight and wants to find the best outlet to pursue her interests.

Fears: Social reproof. Elle likes people and she wants (most) people to like her. She hates the idea of being out of the loop and people turning away from her. Hates the idea of being alone.

INTERESTS:

Movies: Elle loves "iconic girl films" that she says motivate her and her ambitions. Like Devil Wears Prada, Legally Blonde, etc. And secretly White Chicks. But that's a secret she'll take to her grave.

Music: Loves pop music. Either modern or early 2000's. Like Britney Spears and Ava Max.

Books: Was never much of a reader. Can't sit down long enough. She prefers to be actively doing stuff.

Hobbies: Volleyball, makeup, listening to music, social media, and hanging out with friends.

Food: Elle likes to keep a very healthy diet. She wants to better herself because "her body is a temple." She eats a lot of salads, burritos, and anything with avocado.

Drinks: Like most girls her age, she has an addiction to frothy coffee. Espressos, mocoachinos, whatever complicated order she can get that baffles Memphis and everyone around her. She is a walking stereotype and she's proud of it.

Take-Out Order: Moo Goo Gai Pan

RELATIONSHIPS:

Jenevieve Sloann: When they were kids, they did not get along, mostly due to how different they were. Elle was quick to point out everything she didn't understand about Jen, hurting Jen's feelings and the cycle went on. But after her dad forces her to go to Jen's club, the two start beginning to understand each other better.

Lila Greene: Being Jen's friend, Elle wasn't quick to try and befriend her, but over time, the club grew closer and so did they.

James Shepherd: After Linda's murder, Elle blames James a lot for her death since he fell asleep when he should've been doing his job. So this leads into Elle keeping an icy disposition around him. She doesn't understand what Jen sees in him.

Memphis Moses: Jen's cousin drives Elle completely out of her mind. He's loud, obnoxious, and tries to make a joke out of everything. But maybe with time the two can learn to see eye to eye.

Timothy Gonzales: Elle's very close with her father. She has always tried to emulate him since she was a little girl, and he admits he's spoiled her rotten. But what happens if she finds out he's keeping secrets from her? Is he not the white knight she always thought him to be?

ABILITIES:

  1. Gossip: Being a reformed mean girl, Elle remembers how to get information from people. And being a young lady who has a sociable personality, she doesn't come off threatening, making it easier for people to confide in her.

  2. Research: Thanks to her extensive history with tools like social media, Elle knows how to find what she needs with the internet. Sees a cute guy working at the store? Just a first name and a hometown and Elle has found his social media, address, interests, whatever she needs. What would make her a stalker in regular life, makes her a great detective with the club.

  3. Makeup Artist: Before meeting the group, Elle was studying cosmetology to become a professional makeup artist, probably working at a store where she could get girls ready for events such as prom, weddings, etc. Taking this into their sleuthing, Elle has become fascinated with disguises and how to make her friends look like completely different people for the sake of a case. Though that's something she'll have to delve into later...

  4. Dramatics: Elle has been gifted in the art of getting what she wants since she was a baby. In the blink of an eye, she can turn on the tears and throw a fit until she gets her way. This can be useful if the team needs to make a scene for a distraction, put on an act to get information, or they need to get out of a confrontation real quick. She can gain sympathy, talk to a manager, the possibilities are endless.

  5. Athletics: In high school, Elle was a part of the volleyball team, so she is in shape and has a past in cardio, which is useful for situations like running for your life when a murderous ghost is chasing you...

BIOGRAPHY:

Elle is a middle child, if that tells you enough. Despite being spoiled and super close with her dad, she always felt like she was being put up against her naturally successful older sister and her adorable baby sister. It was only at school that she could get the attention she wanted, due to her family's standing in the community.

When she met Jenevieve, the two instantly clashed due to their opposing interests and Elle in her young age considered her a threat, somebody else to compete with while Jen just wanted to be left alone. The two would butt heads and if the teachers got involved, it didn't take much convincing for them to take Elle's side--even if she initiated the majority of the arguments.

Graduating high school and going into college, Elle found out how flimsy her childhood friendships had been, and struggles to find a place for herself in the adult world without popularity and cliques. When her dad invites her to his workplace's new book club, Elle finds it's led by the last person she ever expected; her longtime rival.
